"I had heard of this place from a freind, and have driven past it many times, and made me curious. I decided to take my girlfreind and my mom out for mothers day on sat. and this looked like the time to try it. We were glad to know they had elevator service since my mom has a bad foot. Viewing the menu, it was a bit hard to understand because of how it is divided, but we finally decided on each meal. I will say..there really needs to be a picture description for the choices. I ordered a dolma salad with the chicken which was $6 more. My mom ordered the piri piri chicken, and when asked if she wanted a soup for the side we assumed it was included. It appeared on the bill like it was an extra. My girlfriend had one of the specials which was called something chicken teriyaki. We got our orders and my salad was good but the chicken, which usually is cut in small pieces, was big slices laid on top. Having only a butter knife, it wasnt easy to cut. The chicken teriyaki was pitiful. The chicken was about the size of 2 loonies, laid on a half inch thick slice of grilled onion and 2 mushrooms. And a bowl of rice. For $18...the chicken in my salad (for $6) was twice the size. Overall...the portions do not match the price. We left still hungry. And sorry, will not recommend, nor will we be back. On the good side the lady that greeted us was VERY freindly and smiled a lot. Seemed to be new and wanted to learn more about the wines. The waiter we had was freindly as well, so the staff was great...the atmosphere was great, was just the portions and pricing. Better menu with photos would be a great improvement. My rating would have been a 2 but the nice staff brought me to 3."
