"This seasonal outdoor restaurant of two women corinne as a host and anne corinne as a chef offers some of the best foie grass and duck magret in the region, for prices that cannot be beaten. we speak 16 euro for a menu decouverte, the...features pate de foie gras, an salatperigourdine, a nut tree and a quarter liter wein. but add nine euro and get the full menu gourmand: foie gras with a glass of delicious, sweet monbazillac wein, the famous salat perigourdine, plus the best aiguillette of the duck (super tender and rich filled with foie and what more magret. plus tart and the quarter of liter wein (rose, red, white, au choix). when we say there are geese in the shed just on the hill of the cherry, zelt covered picnic table, it will come as no surprise everything here is as fresh as possible. do not hesitate to bring children and also do not hesitate to speak with their neighbours, in which language seems to go. French, Dutch, German and even some Irish visitors know and love this place and if you like what you have eaten, you can take it home. the farm preserves/ts of something that is served. a true sound (what say it takes something navigating, a small landmark from the main D703 route between vitrac and la roque gageac, but that's what gps is, right? go, now."

"We finished our tour of the castle at about 1pm so didn't have time to go back to the bikes, get kitted up and look for somewhere to have lunch. So we decided to eat on site. Very often the food at attractions isn't all that great, but here we were pleasantly surprised. The waitress was friendly and helped us with the menu. She recommended the tavern special which was a confit duck leg, some delicious garlic potatoes, and a huge salad dressed with walnut oil and goats cheese. As it was a nice day, eating on the terrace with such great views was lovely. It really was very good and very reasonably priced. If I visit the castle again I would also eat here again."

"Dinner last night. Top notch from start to finish everything is delicious. Sweetbreads with chanterelles to die for and a beautiful steak. No starter or dessert because the main course alone was enough for the evening. Everything tastes good. Appetizers as an aperitif then appetized with a delicious pepper sorbet, coffee sweets. Honestly, I haven't eaten so well in a long time. In addition, the waitress asks us if we are allergic to an ingredient. That is my case. Never had this request in other restaurants!! The only downside is that the lights on the ground come out too powerful. I was so dazzled that I almost fell and my husband guided me to the exit. In the end we couldn't see anything. There. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Chef."

The owner is a little a character. don't think it's the kind to bend to demanding and impolis people. Be polite and enjoy the jokes. clean and good food. parking is paid in the sum. very busy in July and August. check the opening hours before making a trip to visit. In June 2018, the food stopped at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, but until 1900 on weekends. (original opinion) fish and chips lovely, proper nice fish in fresh, crispy batr, with real mushy peas if you like. washed down with locally brewed blonde ale which was delicious. Great service. owner is a bit of a character. don't think he's one to pander to demanding, rude people. be polite and enjoy the banter. clean, nice food. parking must be paid for in somme. very busy in july august. check opening hrs before making a trip to visit. in june 2018 food stopped at 1700 weekdays, but till 1900 weekends."
