"Considering the reviews, I was expecting something special. It was a busy Saturday night and people were queuing to get a table however we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our food. Mine came first and it was supposed to be satay noodles - no flavour of satay whatsoever. My friend's meal came 10 minutes later and she said it was nice. But we won't be going back, I refuse to wait that long for food."

"Ordered my usual pad ki mao chicken no egg been ordering for the last year or so which has been good for most parts. On Tuesday night placed an order 7pm . As I started eating it noticed the rice noodle texture was mushy and notice beef pieces of meat here and there throughout the meal. Which I don't eat beef it kind of turned me off. A couple of hours later I started to feel really nauseating ,then at midnight I threw up all my pad ki mao Disgusting I was food poisoned by Gang Thai. During the day I didn't have any lunch prior to this meal. Will not be ordering again ."

"Ordered in the menu log. The food wasn't as good as before. Don't know if that difference is because of pickup. The pad thai wasn't bad but others are like that. The ingredients in fried rice were less than usual. Not a happy experience."

"No missing items, chicken don was crunchy and delicious, miso soup was more flavoursome than other restaurants and they even gave me two packets of ginger, wasabi and one soy sauce unasked. Not only was my order correct with extras but it was also delicious. 5 Stars!"

"2022Under new management. Changes in menu. The food is a bit mild for my liking. Excellent hospitality.2021Delicious and affordable family owned Thai restaurant. "We absolutely love this thai restaurant! There is alot of thai places to eat around here and we've tried them all, but nothing compares to the choice, flavour, consistency and service of Sumbaijai. The owner, Gay, is the friendliest and most attentive person you could meet and the prices are amazing for the quality you get. There is a special board to try new things but the regular menu is fantastic. So many thai places dumb it down for aussies but not here. We go to thailand several times a year but actually crave here when we get back as its so much fresher. Addicted!"

"The reception was very friendly, we ordered drinks (they sell beers not silly bottles) and my wife ordered a cocktail that was excellent, the drinks waiter was a young English boy and he knows that he is cocktails. We ordered starters...and they came fast and chicken cereal and shrimp Toast was to die for Mains were also excellent I recommended pad Thai and red curry The owner lady apologised for waiting and service, but they just opened and there was not much of a wait and then little wait we had it worth it, I recommend this Thai restaurant thank you.
