"We visited this restaurant on our chalet staff’s night off. Sadly we were disappointed by our meal and particularly angry that we were served raw chicken. The person that received the raw chicken was pregnant also. This caused a great deal of distress and we had to leave quite abruptly. I spoke to the staff who apologised and said they would take it off the bill (it did appear on the bill after we sent it back! I tried to explain how unacceptable it was to serve raw chicken but this didn’t seem to be understood or taken seriously. I ordered the raclette with a friend which I was really looking forward to. Whenever I’ve ordered this before you get a large wheel of cheese and you eat what you want. We were served a small wedge which was too small to stay together and just fell apart. Some boiled potatoes, ham and salad all for the grand total of 50e also for two! We went to this restaurant last year and it was quite enjoyable. This year fell well below par sadly."
The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and have something in nice weather.

"Great restaurant, we went there twice with friends. Service and reception upstairs. The menu of the day is great. However, we did not take the à la carte dishes. They're a little high. Child menu very well and their homemade bread is great. Let's go back."

"We spent an excellent stay with gentianettes. Everything is done to relax. The rooms with terrace are clean and spacious. The kitchen in the 2 restaurants is excellent. The hotel is well located near the centre and not far from the Dranse river which is very pleasant to walk or ride by bike. And what doesn't spoil anything, the hotel's bosses are very kind and very careful. I recommend this establishment with closed eyes! Rachel and Pascal Maire"
