"Kommen jetzt schon seit Jahren ab und zu in den Bären. Hier findet man eine gehobene und regionale Küche. Die kleinen speziellen Eigenschaften, wie zum Beispiel die Speisekarte auf einer Kreidetafel, finden wir sehr originell. Ruhige Lage nah an der Grenze zu Deutschen, locken auch deutsche Gäste an. Die Speisen waren immer sehr gut und reichlich. Regional und Saisonal wird hier im Bären sehr sehr gross geschrieben. Vielen Dank ans Team"

"We are now 24. July at about 17:15 a.m. arrived at the restaurant, opening time was 5 p.m. We were about 5 minutes in the entrance area (also called several times) but nobody came, so we went to the backyard (parking area), there were 2 people (probably employees) sitting and smoking. After the question whether the restaurant was open, we received the answer “Yes, but we are in the break, no stress”. After the question of how long it should take (5, 10 or more minutes) the woman turned into a man and made clear with head shakes that she did not want to serve us, apparently we were too happy with the questions. (These are still sitting in the backyard, not standing up) It was quite clear to us that there was no desire and motivation at all to serve us in this place and are a Greek restaurant in the same village where we were very attentive and friendly, looking at the Rhine and very good food. At the end we were glad to have been forced to visit another restaurant."

"Yesterday we celebratet our 12 anniversary at the Kesselhaus and as always, everything was just perfect. As starter I chose the Wildschwein Rohschinken with salad. Very aromtic and tender. Excellent. As main course I got the Wild Dreierlei. Meet was tender and tasty with excellent cooked vegetables usw. Will be back any time soon"
