"We have been take-out patrons of Jerry 's Pizza for years. Food was always delicious, never had an issue with our orders, never gotten sick, etc. While the quality of food is not the cause of this review, our family felt it was important to share our in-person experience. Right at opening on Wednesday morning, I decided to order a side of fries to snack on during the traffic drive home. While waiting in the restaurant, I noticed that the individual who was working in the kitchen used his BARE HANDS to make my Italian Salad, mix and bag the french fries. Because we were in a rush, I decided in that moment to not bring embarrassment in front of other customers and just take my losses. Later that evening, I called Jerry 's Pizza to share my experience not to cause trouble, but with hopes of improved service for others moving forward. The manager on duty defensively replied that it is apart of their training and policy to use their bare hands while handling food. I was in utter shock. I asked her for further clarification and she assured me that employees hands were clean I couldn 't get pass her demeanor and attitude with me on the phone. With disappointment, I decided it was important to come on here and share this review. I understand that some dishes, like pizza are best made with bare hands, but the dish is further cooked and placed under high heat. Consuming raw/cold vegetables and final ready-to-eat dishes that have been touched with bare hands, NO GLOVES, NO TONGS, etc. does not sit well."

"The best pizza spot on the north shore. The gluten free is my fav! Fresh ingredients, a chill environment, central location in Haleiwa and of course a staff that serves up amazing food with ton of aloha. Ask for Michelle. Let her know you read this review from Chris. She will make your pizza with love and treat you with respect and care. I Can’t say enough about this place. One of, if not the best pizza place on Oahu. Mad love to everyone running this business."

"Jax was such an amazing find! We were visiting the north shore and hadn't had much luck finding good vegan and vegetarian food in the Waikiki area. Jax has so many vegan options and they were knowledgeable about how to make changes to anything to make it vegan. The staff was sooo nice and the pizza crust was ridiculous it was so good. They make it using their own sourdough starter. You have to stop in and try their yummy pizza ???? ????"
