"Nice sushi"

"For starters, before we get into the actual food, the location is very good. It is located inside of Independent, so you can pick up some dinner while your shopping. The design of the sushi bar and the sign are simplistic and satisfying to view. They have all the sushi on display ready for you to grab and purchase, since there is a self checkout right beside it. Now, for the food. They had a lot of different options for types, and quantity of the sushi you want. I was very hungry tonight, so I grabbed the supreme family pack, so it filled me perfectly. As for the sushi it’s self, IT WASN’T dry, hard, and old as another review claimed. It was fresh, moist, and tasted pretty good. It tastes better than you would expect for sushi from a grocery store, and I don’t regret buying it. There was a type of sushi in the pack I’ve never seen before, it must’ve been a special. Needless to say, it tasted very good and I would get it again. The only complaint I have is that the sushi got kind of overwhelming after I was almost done (one cali roll left). Besides that, it was a very pleasant sushi experience and I would definitely but it again."

"Surprised.... We went here about 5 years ago and found it overpriced and average. <br/ <br/ Recently they started offering an all you can eat option on the menu; so we decided to try the place again. <br/ <br/ The food was good, the menu was sufficiently varied to meet the interests of the whole group. The service was nothing to write home about but we will for sure go back. <br/ <br/ I especially liked the spicy salmon roll, the sushi pizza and the japanese hashbrown."

"A few years ago i came here and the service and food weren 't too bad, so I decided to stop by before a movie. They had maybe two tables and an empty restaurant yet we were turned away immediately because they were "too busy. "We decided to go back the next time we were in the area and we were the only people there, yet the food took ages to get to us. The sushi tasted worse than grocery store sushi, with hard rice and tasted awful. the vegetables were soggy and the food was not good at all. Only decent thing there was the drink. Will never go again, and i don 't suggest it to anyone. Staff was very unpleasant and rude"

"Wow. Have not been here in a couple of years. Boy did this place go downhill. What a dump. Disgusting. Went for lunch on Friday. We were not served what we ordered. I think we were served whatever was left over from lunch. We ordered...grilled chicken skewers and they served something hard, crusty and deep fried on a stick. It was absolutely hilarious. Stuff started showing up at the table (stuff we had not ordered and the stuff we ordered never arrived. The stuff that did arrive was disgusting and the waitress was absolutely no help. We tried to explain we were receiving the wrong food. The waitress simply walked away talking to herself. Furthermore, while I was eating they began mopping the floors right beside me (after having mopping the bathroom/ with smelly, filthy water. What a smell. They left so much water on the floor the patrons were all laughing. I can’t believe this plan has not been shut down. Nice visit for a story, but not such a good eating experience let alone the health risk."
