"Je ne fréquente pas habituellement les cantines. L'endroit nous a été recommandé par des amis. Comme nous allions visité les Jardins de Métis nous avons fait un arrêt obligé à cette accueillante cantine. Wow quelle belle découverte. Tout était bon, guédille au homard, au crabe, excellent. Les frites croustillantes, parfaites. Vous dégustez votre repas devant le fleuve. Je vous le recommande: une cantine de choix. De plus les gens sont super sympathiques."

"We spent 3 weeks around the Saint Lawrence River and ate many seafood dinners. This restaurant had good service, great atmosphere, a nice gift shop, but the food was a solid average in our opinion. It has so much going for it, wish the food was on of the things going for it."

"I enjoyed the table d'hôte seafood vol au vent. Plate was generous and included rice and small garden salad. My spouse described his coquille St-Jacques as excellent.The restaurant was busy and having only one waitress meant you had to wait a bit. One recommendation would be that the gentleman who was greeting and seating us could also bring the water and bread basket and just indicate that the waitress would take our order shortly."

"At first we just stop over on this resto on our way to Perce. The restaurant interior design looks great. They are selling souvenir things that you can bring home. The decorations is so cozy. The food price is reasonable but everything we order are...delicious. Value for money. The view of St. Lawrence River is your background. We will definitely go back in this resto when we go to Maritimes again."

"My husband and I went in here for breakfast. The owner was friendly and he spoke English for us. He said to choose a spot and he would bring coffee, and he brought an English menu. I asked for Decaf Coffee and got it no problem. I had tasty bacon and eggs and I saw gluten free pancake on the menu, so I ordered that instead of toast and was given some maple syrup to have with it. Also there was jam and a small fruit salad which was nice to have (not many restaurants served fruit with their traditional breakfast). My husband enjoyed his breakfast also which was the same, but with toast. It was very clean inside and we noticed that the owner behind the counter was shining up the glasses. The art work on the walls were lovely! We would highly recommend this restaurant."
