"Absolute fan! This is a MUST try on Kaua'i! Local families and tourists alike find their happy place here. Captain Harry, the owner, is a Vietnam Veteran and really brings the elements of Wala'au Ohana to this family-owned and -ran restaurant. The food is on point and the customer service is the best on Kaua'i! We heard that Harry and family are working on a new dessert that might have tasted REALLY ono, but you'll have to go yourself to check it out... Dickie Chang approved Daddy O's Restaurant!"

"All about this experience is quintessential Hawaii. Beautiful restaurant with beautiful decor. The view to the beach is breathtaking. Great ducks, drinks and dessert. A perfect service. Tip: You can add the salad bar for $25 or a meal for $7. We chose the second option that I recommend. I don't think it's worth $25. This culinary experience is for my favorite restaurant experience in Hawaii (with Kimo's in Maui)."

"The restaurant is located in a fairly clean location with good ambiente, but our server seemed very uninterested and was not very friendly. eating was just as good; it sounded better on the menu. hopefully this was just one one-off and other experiences were better."
