"Beautiful small place for authentic Ethiopian cuisine. We shared a few of the appetizers and then a herbal combo plate that allows us to taste the other items on the menu. The flavors were a beautiful mix of spices without mouth-on-fire hot and the staff was very friendly, helpful and dedicated as it was our first visit. It will definitely not be last, as we look forward to more in the future!"

I was raised in a West Indian home, and I’m sorry West Indian definitely is not what I got !!!!!!!!!!!!!I ordered the oxtail and the stewed chicken. They both were extremely bland. The oxtail were amazingly tender, but I was expecting a taste of Jamaica, and the food was very bland..i’ve been eating stew chicken, my whole entire life and I’ve never had stew chicken BREAST that was a huge disappointment to me. AND I UNDERSTAND THAT EVERYBODY DOESN’T LIKE CHICKEN ON THE BONE IF THAT’S THE CASE MAKE YOUR !!!!OWN !!!!!! WHEN YOU GO TO A JAMAICAN RESTAURANT or a West Indian home )AND YOU ORDER STEW CHICKEN, or is being served at someone’s home IT BETTER BE ON THE BONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was dry despite all of the juice that had spilled out into my bag which I’m sure was no fault of the restaurant but if you want juicy stew chicken, it Hass to be on the bone. I am going to stress that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Again I wanted a taste of Jamaica because I was to lazy to cook today myself !!! I’m sure they won’t miss my service but I don’t think i will be going back to pay those prices and not getting authentic taste of Jamaican cuisine!!!!!!!!!!!!I hope the owner can regroup maybe make a few changes and come back stronger !!!!!! The people will always come for good food!!!!! Just get good food up in there !"

"We drove to the right cake because we love cake. steak and cheese, pork and sausage roll were all fantastic spicy cakes. the filling was incredible and the crust was excellent. large ratio also for the following. the strawberry rhubarb pee was super and a highlight, the chocolate pecan was also great. I have a full pancake to go home and it's gone now....so you're the judge."

"We've celebrated countless Birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions here, as it's been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid. I've yet to find a dish that wasn't delectable, with each one being plentiful and endlessly appetizing. My favorite probably being just the good ol' Spaghetti and Meatballs. SIMPLE? Yes. SIMPLY AMAZING! The staff are always friendly, attentive and accommodating. Maria (manager) is very personable and always makes us feel right at home and in good hands. Whether it's pickup, a romantic dinner for two or a family reunion in the banquet room (and air hockey tournament afterwards) they got ya covered. I've always said that if I were to ever open my own restaurant, I would strive to be like Carini's."
