"We stopped by the Gasthof zum Freihof on our hike and were warmly welcomed. The dinner was very tasty and rich, as was the breakfast. The room is large, very clean and well maintained. "Immer wieder ein Besuch wert! Ob zu Zweit oder als Familienanlass. Das Restaurant ist mit einer Glas-Holzwand in zwei Räume unterteilt, vorne eher für's Trinken ausgestattet und hinten zum Essen. Für grössere Anlässe besitzt die Brückenwaage noch einen zusätzlichen Saal. Auch am Sonntag gibt es preiswertige Mittagsmenus (wenn ich mich recht erinnere sind es fünf Stück zur Auswahl) Suppe, Salat und Hauptgang mit ca. fünf verschiedenen Sorten Gemüse. Mmh lecker :-) Mein Favorit ist Heidis Cordonbleu oder das Lamm. Also: hingehen lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, feines Essen und dies sehr freundlich serviert!"

"I have never experienced such a thing, neither in a spelunke let alone in a Gault-Millau / guide michelin local. we were loaded to a sorrow. no greetings. more people don't go to a table. personal that is so stubborn (after motto: unfortunately we have to work for you.) chef was not to see! eat according to obligation. service a guess: unfriendly, the soaking of the drinks was connected each time with drops on the table or the environment etc."
