"We had a great time there. The place is very friendly. You order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table. I had the fish and chips, it was scrumptious, not too heavy on the breading, right amount of sauce, the chips were delicious, service very friendly, like eating at home. I highly recommend it."

"A great little jewel in ste adèle. the place was original and the service was friendly and eager to please. even if we had arrived as a large group abandoned and were “forgeted” over the server felt bad and more than for them. rest of the evening made. my only comment is that I expected a much bigger menu after their website, but the server explained that there was an accident and only a few dishes were served. to the luck was what we ordered, delicious. disappointed we could not try anymore and they should probably update their website."

"Visited again April 7, 2013 for Sunday BrunchThe restaurant has improved their menu and choices include some interesting dishes. Breakfast dishes include waffles, eggs, beans, crisp bacon, sausages, and waffles, for breakfast lovers. The hot luncheon dishes include: Chicken, marinated mussels, fish, and yummy thinly sliced roasted potatoes. There is also a creamy soup and choice of breads. The salad bar includes tender Salmon fish, smoked salmon, Asian-dressed spinach salad, colourful roasted peppers & eggplant, avocado in a white creamy dressing (which kept on disappearing), as well as all the regular salads and trimmings, cold cuts etc.The nicest feature is the young man who prepares your pasta sauce as you wish it, and the pasta comes out great. At the same island with the Pasta making chef, there is Roast beef, done just right served with its sauce, and good horseradish. The desert table includes a few cheeses, mostly locally produced, fresh fruits blueberries, strawberries, fresh fruit salad, various pie style deserts baked on location, the Lemon-Cheese pie was good, and different kinds of mousse-type deserts. Coffee comes to the table often - service is very friendly and attentive. The new Executive Chef Pierre-André Cantin is gradually introducing new dishes and tastes, as well as locally grown and produced foods. The team is headed by the new Restaurant Manager Mario Gagné, who says that they are having fresh wind in their sails to bring back Chantecler to its fame of the past."

"Nous sommes venus manger dernièrement et nous n'y retournerons plus. Ils avaient une recette gagnante et ils ont tout mis à la poubelle quel gâchis! Nous sommes venus manger car nous venons depuis plusieurs années et nous avons toujours été servis impeccablement mais pas cette fois. Moi j'ai pris l' escalope de veau michaelangelo et ma femme a pris le Carbonnarra et ce n'était vraiment pas comme avant, nous avons demander au serveur pourquoi c'était différent et il nous as répondu que les nouveaux proprio avaient décider de mettre les ''vraies recettes''. Si ma femme aurait voulu un vrai Carbonnarra avec un oeuf à côté nous serions aller en Italie! C'est vraiment dommage, c'était si bon! Et je ne parle même pas du service...ce n'est même plus les mêmes serveur et serveuses."
