"This beautiful small breakfast place is operated by a sweet woman who will serve a dish of mixed vegetables with Kongee, handmade sushi, fresh spring rolls, sandwiches, medical soup and my favorite; 'zhua bing' a crispy sweet pancake. I would highly recommend visiting for a nice breakfast and maybe take some prefabricated things away for lunch later."

"This modern vegetarian restaurant had a variety of classic dishes from around the world to try, including pizza, bibimbap and curry. I ordered a meal that was well worth the 199 NT price. There was a hand-translated menu, but it was not clear which options were vegan, most of the articles contained milk or eggs. Service was friendly but very slow."

"Absolutely amazing pasta. it is expensive (especially after taiwan standards,) but it asks the best pasta I ever had (and I was in italy) the interieur is beautifully decorated, and the mood is very chic but relaxed. the menu is English and Chinese and says what the nutrition of each dish is acceptable for (vegan, ovo lacto, garlic or no garlic) they would recommend"

"This all-you-can-eat buffet had a very large selection of delicious dishes to choose from. most were vegan Taiwanese dishes, but they also had pizzas, chips and ices. Some articles contained milk products. it costs 250 taiwan dollar, so make sure they come to an empty one to make the best of it! highly recommended if they can eat a lot!"

"This is a traditional vegan buffet and noodle shop in the city of Hualien. The food is not too oily unlike many other similar buffets, and it also claims to be MSG-free! They follow the cen Buddhist tradition, so no garlic or onions are used. If you want a cheap, healthy and 'pure' vegan meal in Hualien, this is a good choice. Just make sure you don't come too late as all the good dishes can be gone at the time you arrive."
