"Because of the excellent reviews posted on this website, my husband and I stopped here as we traveled toward the Halifax airport from Cape Breton Island. We were not disappointed! We both had Portuguese fish cakes and Portuguese salad and my husband also had rice. Both the food and the service were amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant."

"This place would get top ratings if the dining room had a better ambiance! The food and service definitely compete with the other great places to eat in Antigonish - Townhouse and Brownstone in terms of value, service and ... well, just good food. Great for brunch as well! If they facaded the dining room and made it unique rather than an aged hotel dining room, it would be amazing! They are doing a Friday night buffet and doing different themes which we haven't tried but a great idea -- just update the place to make it a 10/10 (ambiance isn't everything for sure... but it is important!)"
