"Wow We have been wanting to dine here for a few years ever since we discovered the joys of this area Finally today we were able to eat here and we were not disappointed The food the service and the atmosphere were all lovely. The...staff were really lovely especially our sommelier (sorry we did not get your name) The Sunday lunch menu is small but that is good in my opinion. The food was great my husband had cod and he said it was the best he had eaten for a very long time. We are back up here in January and will definitely be booking a table if we can"

"Well, what can I say? Wellsprings is absolutely amazing. My husband bought us here for my birthday and we couldn’t fault it all! The lodges are UNREAL with stunning views. Very modern with beautiful decor. The lodges are well presented and very well equipped with large glass windows/doors with lush views. An outside area overlooking the countryside with table and chairs as well as comfy sofa makes it the perfect spot to take it all in. The bed was comfortable and the free standing bath in the bedroom was fabulous! The little extras made our stay even more amazing chocolates, biscuits and tea/coffee/milk/OJ on arrival for our stay. We were greeted on arrival by the lovey owners who couldn’t do enough to make our stay so wonderful. They went above and beyond leaving us birthday balloons and singing happy birthday with a candle in my sweet in the restaurant on top. These touches are what made our stay even more perfect. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant which was lovely! Food very tasty, service impeccable and the restaurant set up was beautiful again with stunning views. We were couldn’t fault our stay and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend."

"Very well established and loved by the natives. eating is from this world and the only problem is not to know what to order. iw always enjoyed the sauces as they are full of taste, the broth are also great. I would not order the retreat from anywhere else in clitheroe, because the standard cannot be adjusted here. I would recommend the tandoori huh, it is amazing and very tasty. also the delivery is very fast and efficient."
