"I had a nice Wiener schnitzel her, with a nice cold beer. The place looks shabby but the food is good. A lot of local visitors, laughing and smoking under the tree outside the gasthof."

"Der Mensch isst auch mit den Augen, bei den gestern im Mövenpick Restaurant servierten "Geissenkäse mit Baumüssen Ravioli" für Vegetarier nutzte der hübsch mit Pefferkörnern drapierte Teller aber wenig. Wenn die Teigwaren einfach nur trocken sind und eine Sauce dazu fehlt, ist das kein kulinarisches Erlebnis mehr. Ein paar einfache Olivenöl-Spritzer hätten da vielleicht schon gereicht. Aber ein Teller Trockenpasta für 26.00 Franken ist dann doch total überteuert und nicht empfehlenswert. Immerhin war der Kellner ein kleines Highlight zum Schluss der Mahlzeit, da er mich nach Blick auf die Kreditkarte höflich mit dem Namen verabschiedete. Im Sommer auf der Terrasse dürfte mindestens der Blick in die schönen Schweizer Berge bezirzen. Kurzparking bis 1-2 Std. über Mittag ist kostenlos, ein Pluspunkt."

"We had a gathering of a club at this restaurant which owns a large dining hall with seating of up to 100 people. So you expect that the kitchen is able to handle cooking for many people. Disappointment. In our group of around 50 people for dinner many people waited up to two hours for their dishes to be served. For several of us the sauce had a burnt taste although the meat quality was good. Service once the food was prepared was friendly and efficient. Thanks to the fact that the restaurant is a bit off the track on the country side there is ample parking space for larger groups. Best with groups is to order only one set menu, then chances for a quicker serving may be better."

"We were two there and will go more often. when we were at the beginning kindly come home here and wished us a lot fun, we thought what should be. but when that was eating we understood wiso. it was an absolute joy to eat, a fork full in the mouth and there was truly a taste explosion. Although I otherwise get hungry at many small walks, I had never felt hungry all night. very hospitable and here you really feel as a king and queen. highly recommended. Don't let the price stop you, I think it's totally in order!"
