"With a group of 10 friends we stayed at 2 nights in the Fresh House. have tested the fish card almost up and down and all were full of the lobes eating over it. we were served quickly and courteously, who had the service at all their stress still time for loose spruche so we all felt absolutely comfortable."

"My wife and I were there for dinner. we had decided for the 4-course surprise and were thrilled. for nearly 45 euro there were very high-quality ingredients and these perfectly prepared. for the menue we would have liked more than 5 stars in the category. the service was on 3.8 but due to the sensational menu no less points."

"Went through Stade, a small beautiful German hanseatic city, an early night to find a place to eat. Everything was closed, but in a narrow alley we found Fischhus Stortebeker. The host was so friendly and invited us in. We could choose from a showcase with fresh fish. We eat a homemade fish soup and various fried fish fillets. We have the best roasted apples I've ever eaten in Germany as ancillary dishes. It was wonderful, and the host proudly showed us his newly renovated banquet facilities, in the 250 year old house. It would be a dream for me to celebrate my 70th birthday in this wonderful environment. We can only recommend this cozy place to others. When you visit Stade, you have to eat fish in this restaurant. There is also a guest house with rooms to rent, but we did not see these facilities."
