"The restaurant’s location complements perfectly the quality of the food: It is excellent and beautifully presented. The fresh produces and wine are from the area. Thumbs up to the young chef with innovative dishes and his specialty “ l’emulsion” which is just delicious . The team is helpful, welcoming and evrything runs smoothly. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back in a heart beat !!"

"We went back by assart in the restaurant we found a beautiful room and an excellent welcome by two young women very smiling, we took grilled food cooked at the fire to walk was a feast a meat of very good quality fresh produce was excellent. I strongly recommend it very thank you very much!!!"

"Located in the middle of the countryside some cables above Heaven, Cayrols is faithful to its reputation. We had lunch outside. The tables are well spaced, allowing you to have lunch in peace and with adequate privacy. The dishes are tasteful, very well executed and presented. The chief controls his subject, he's seen and he feels. The map is minimalist, fresh and homemade. We started with half-cuit foie gras, accompanied by a marmelade of apricots and a lavender emulsion, delicious, an explosion of flavors. We continued with duck magret and perfect kitchen and the Santiagos accompanied by riceotto with dry ink, a party. For dessert, we chose lemon cake and chocolate dessert, both delicious. The entrance was accompanied by a soft Gaillac glass and a red Gaillac for the magret. Well done. The portions are well balanced, which is not always the case in a gastro restaurant. The menu entry, the dish and the dessert is 35€ and frankly it is very correct given the quality of the products. Glass wine is of a reasonable price. It's a great discovery, we'll be back. I particularly recommend having a very pleasant lunch."

"We stayed here for two nights as part of a walking holiday. It is an excellent hotel well situated on the river Tarn for lots of walking routes. The room was functional and clean. But what makes this hotel excellent is two things. Firstly to hospitality of the owner Pascal. He was very friendly and really went out of his way to ensure that all of his guests were comfortable. The second thing is the food. The breakfast was lovely with fresh pastries, yoghurts, fruit, coffee, homemade jams.... I could go on! Each day we had a lovely freshly made picnic... but the evening meal was out of this world. Freshly cooked, beautifully presented and very very tasty! A lovely family run hotel that I would definitely stay at again.. and would highly recommend to others."

"We stopped for lunch whilst passing through St-Martin-Laguepie in the Aveyron region of France and found Le Fast Fou next to the river Viaur with parking nearby. We enjoyed a variety of food from black pudding salad starters through to salads and burgers for main courses, all of which were delicious. Service was really friendly, with the proprietor (Louise) explaining proudly each dish and how it was prepared and from which local producers. Decent value for the starters and mains, but the ice cream desserts were pricey for what they were."
