"We were very disappointed by our meal at La Rive Gauche on Christmas Day. We booked for mid day in order to have the Sunday champagne brunch which is advertised on the restaurant 's website. But when we got to our table, in a dark spot behind a post even though the restaurant was empty, we were informed that the kitchen couldn 't provide that. The only option was a fixed price dinner menu for $60 per person. There was no wine list, only red or white wine by the glass or bottle. We moved to a window seat at our request, and while the meal was decent, the service, ambience, and value were extremely poor. We will not return, and frankly I don 't know how this restaurant stays in business."

"The sweet crepes were delicious. I also liked the tomato soup. It is a clean place and has a good ambience. We tried the vegan pasta and vegan savory crepes. To be honest, I felt they were a little Bland, but I loved the desert. I would definitely go back for deserts."
