"We ordered at 6.30 and got our order at 7.05. I loved the pizza. The calabrese was very nice with the fresh tomato on top. My partner got a chicken parma. It wasn't the processed chicken schnitzel, IT WAS REAL! You can really taste the difference. I think I will be getting that next time! Keep it up guys! You have a new regular customer!"

"Mario's Pizza and Pasta is a little local pizza/pasta place. We walked in and got a Hi from the pizza maker and also a 'have a good night' as we picked up the pizza. That's quite good and what you would expect from a local pizza joint. They also have EFTPOS facilities as well which is a plus. Unfortunately the positives end there.We ordered a half/half family sized pizza and it wasn't nice at all. We got a half Marinara and half Supreme pizza. The marinara side was quite horrible really. They used the real cheap marinana mix which kind of tastes like cardboard. The surpreme was a bit better, but was still way below other pizzas I've eaten. It was all quite mushy and soggy (you can see that it's soggy from the picture). The surpreme does have a lot of ingredients and will fill you up. It's the classic example of quantity over quality.The family sized pizza was not that cheap either at $17.90 and add $1 for half/half. The large size is much better value. Overall the pizza was not nice at all, and I would not recommend Mario's Pizza and Pasta. Maybe if you're really starving, you could give it a go."

"Raphael 's Pizza has really taken off since it move to a more convenient location. Pizzas are excellent. We had a meat lover 's recently and we could only eat half. Marinara is also good. In all, it 's not the cheapest pizza joint in Essendon but it... 's one of the best. Pizzas can be delivered."
