"Flew into the mountains with the sessel lift and sat randomly with vegetable milk (soy and hafer). only one cappuccino with soy milk. the coffee was a bit too strong for me, but it was nice."

"Our party of 8 stumbled into L'Alta during a rainstorm. Couldn't have had better luck! Service was good, ambiance relaxed and casual, and food tasty. Portions more than ample. One pizza was served overcooked, and the waitress offered to replace it. This is a busy...place and we were glad to have found it."

"We ate here twice on our week ski holiday to Avoriaz area. Fantastic setting, literally above the clouds. Service was good and food was lovely although pricey as you would expect for a ski area in the Swiss Alps! Worth it for a treat. We had Salmon, Burgers, Chicken Salad, Goats cheese salad, mac and cheese, all great. Only complaint was the mac and cheese has bacon in it and my friend who ordered is a vegetarian and it never mentioned that on the menu."

"We had coffee in the morning which was very good but the lunch was very average and very expensive. I had a polystyrene cup of soup and some very greasy chips. The cost was 17€ and they didn't even give me any bread. Not a patch on mountain restaurants in Austria."

"We made a reservation for Sunday lunch at 13h30 while skiing last Sunday. After waiting too long, we ordered a small salad and a terrine for starters and a marmite and cordon bleu for Main Course. First came the cordon bleu, shortly the salad and the terrine followed immediately by the marmite. Service was an unorganized disaster but with the exception of the Cordon Bleu the dishes were good. The Codon Bleue however, was a convenience food, combined meat product, which had nothing do to with Cordon Bleue. The check at the end was again first class. ."
