"We've been coming to Akumal for years and had never tried Tequilaville, but that's all changed now. They have a full bar and lots of good beers that are all priced reasonably. The staff is very friendly and I believe family related. It was...suggested that we try the lightly battered fish which I did and it was excellent. It came with perfectly cooked vegetables, rice, and black beans. Let me say it again all was cooked just right. My wife had the garlic and butter shrimp and that two was excellent also with those perfectly cooked vegetables and rice. This was a great find and a delightful place to eat."
In nice weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area, and there is complimentary WLAN.

"All about this restaurant was top notch. I'm pretty picky and I can't find anything to blame. my man and I were 8 days in mexiko and lanuta had the best food and service. my only regret is that we went there at our last night. I just knew. we started with the golden margarita that were made perfect. not watered with much sugary water, as some of them we had. then came the homemade brot with some kind of hummus (I think) and a delicious Habanero sauce that the waiter took the time to explain to us how it was prepared what we really appreciated. I'm really sorry I didn't get the names of the waiter because he was fantastic and the experience really made better. for a main course I had the salmon and my man had the fresh catch of the day both wonderful. we have eaten so that the waiter could bring us a large plate of delicious, perfectly grilled vegetables that were not even on the menu. the dessert we had was amazing. I can't remember what it was called, but the basic was an ingwer, chocolate ding that was fried with a pot of Habanero ice cream. the description sounds strange, but it was absolutely delicious. if they stay close to akumal, they must try this restaurant."

"Wonderful lunch, wonderful people! If you're stopping by the Akumal beach, cross the street to join these ladies for lunch (you won't regret it). The fajitas were amazing, with the fresh fish and tortillas being a highlight."

"Stop here after snorkeling like a lot of people and glad we did. Food was great for lunch and very well priced considering the location. Staff polite and welcoming and was a good place to relax for couple of hours while we awaited are transport back to resort. Would definitely return. Best part is the views and location."
