"Good farm with appropriate home cooking. we were there with six people and had the gypsy carving, the rider and carving plate and the baked pork fillet with tomato/mozzarella. everything except for the bratkartoffeln were very delicious. the bratkartoffeln were unfortunately kartoffeln without brat, i.e. they had no sign of redness. the staff is very friendly and attentive. highlight for children is the life-size horse, that is in the 1/2 hour cycle."

"Reservierung in der Hauptsaison ist notwendig und wurde freundlicherweise auch um einen Tag vorgelegt, da es terminlich bei uns sonst nicht geklappt hätte. Unser Fehler war wahrscheinlich, beim Termin gleich zu sagen, dass wir einen Gutschein zum Einlösen hätten. Wurden vom vorderen, schön eingerichteten Gästeraum, in ein hinteren Gästeraum geschickt, der dringend etwas gerichtet werden dürfte. Haben uns nicht wirklich wohlgefühlt. Zum Essen ist zu sagen, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht ganz passt. Zu sehr leckeren Lendenstücken gab es magere 7 Kroketten! Der Beilagensalat hatte Kantinencharakter (kleine Glasschüssel mit etwas Eisbergsalat, Gurke, Tomate und einem Hauch von Dressing). Fazit von uns: Geschmacklich war es ganz okay, Service könnte sich verbessern und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sollte überdacht werden. In 10 Tagen Urlaub hatten wir definitiv bessere Essenserlebnisse."

"Während unseres Aufenthalts in Neuharlingersiel sind wir zweimal hier eingekehrt. Das Ambiente ist leider sehr imbissmässig, auch der Aussenbereich könnte ein freundlicher und netter eingerichtet sein, aber das Essen war durchweg lecker und vor allem bekommt man auch um 15:00uhr noch ein Mittagessen - nicht unbedingt selbstverständlich in dieser Gegend. Das Personal ist auch ausgesprochen nett und freundlich und hilfsbereit."
