"I was referred to this restaurant by the girl at the front desk of the Holiday Inn Express. I asked where I could get a good steak and she told me this is the place. She admitted her brother is the cook there so she is biased, but she thinks it 's good. They cook the steak over an open flame and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare) with the perfect amount of seasoning. The owner walks around visiting with his regulars and he even came over to chat with me and asked where I 'm from. I felt like I was in a episode of The Andy Griffith Show because everyone was so friendly. I will definitely come here again next time I 'm in town. "I was recommended this place from a coworker. Although filling, the portions were not as large as I was expecting. Everything was saturated with grease, especially the fries. The catfish was decent. The Mac and cheese was the best dish they had, though you can get the same cheese elsewhere."
