Scala is located on the main square, serves nice though not mindblowing pizzas, but You would think they take pleasure in being so offputting. This is not à view based on an isolated incident. I have been there at least four or five times and every time i really enjoyed the food there while being appalled by the service. Be warned."

"L'Escargot is a small restaurant close to the Grand Place in Cambrai. We booked in advance it being a Saturday evening but in the event it was not necessary. We chose the 38 Euro menu and started with a plate of 12 l'escargot (what else)?. My wife followed this with Beef tournedos which was excellently cooked whilst I had a magret of duck cooked in honey. Both were excellent. After the cheese course (two varieties) a light desert followed. There was a good selection of wine covering all price ranges. Highly recommended."
