"This is the motto of the Hollerhöfe, an exceptional hotel concept in Waldeck. In addition to the main house, the Wellvital farmhouse for deer, there are spacious facilities, including a children's playground and a horse clutch. A special feature should be the three lovingly renovated small village houses: Schusterhaus, Schreiberhaus and law firm. It was important for an authentic extension of the listed houses. Now they are hosting numerous foreign rooms and apartments. The opening of the newest house, the company, was in March this year. Not to be confused is the house for deer in the holler farms (Unterer Markt 35a) with the similarly sounding farm pension for deer (Unterer Makt 35). The latter is the parent house of Elisabeth Zintl, the owner of the Hollerhöfe. Ambience: The farmhouse is very new, modernly furnished, clean and well maintained. A sufficient parking space is located directly in front of the building, further parking spaces are located on the street in front of the village houses. In the entrance hall on the left is the reception next to the counter. In the rear area there is a small lounge with some tables. On the right we go to the restaurant, which is used as a breakfast room in the morning. The ambience here is also modern. Small wooden tables with middle ceilings that were usually put together in two groups. The armchairs with the red pillows are very soft, on the bench on the front you sit better. The floor is also made of wood to the area at the buffet, which is tiled. On the window benches are orchids and discrete decorations. Menu: There is a day ticket, the dishes change partially. Mostly one to two soups, four to seven main dishes and one to two desserts. The breakfast buffet offers a rich selection of bread and mammals, jam, sausage, cheese, cereals and fresh fruit. Mirror eggs and eggs (with or without bacon) are at an additional cost. The service is very friendly, attentive and fleeting. Service Sandra has many years of experience in gastronomy and takes care of the guests with his kindness. First evening: Both Griesnockerlsuppe (3,50 Euro) and the Carrots ginger soup (3,50 Euro) were perfectly made and very tasty. In the latter, the freshly grated ginger was clearly understood, both tasteful and textured. The Schnitzel Wiener Kunst (9,50 Euro) was a bit hard. The fries and the additional salad were impeccable. The zander fillet with sweet potato tamphe and bacon beans (12,00 Euro) surprised positively. The fish was boiled to the point and had a fine taste of roasted flavors. The sweet potato tamp was excellently tuned, the bean bundle was held together by a slice of black forests ham. As dessert there was a sweet quark cream with fresh fruit (3.90 euros). Second evening: After we tried the carrots of ginger soup yesterday, we took an appetizer salad today. Various green salads, carrots shaved and in slices, cucumbers, tomatoes, herbal salad. Fresh and crisp, dressed with a light dressing and on a large glass plate. As a main dish we both took the fish variations with rice (12,00 euros). A salmon piece, a zander fillet and two huge cigarettes. Add a rice parrot and a dill wine sauce. Twisted. As dessert we had a Tartufo ice cream with fruit (3.50 euros). Third evening: Today we went under and over in the country house. The reason for this was a lecture at the event hall, which was about a new infrared cabin for the wellness area. Almost the entire staff was in the lecture and Operation Sandra seemed to fight on lost post. The waiting time for the mouth pocket soup (3.50 euros) was 50 minutes. A little fresh fruit from the breakfast buffet, a minute later I finally got the soup. Not really hot served, the mouth pockets not really through yet, and the inlay of carrots and celery was too small and regularly cut for a self-made broth. When I thought the main dishes could come, we heard a loud sound and crawled out. It seemed to be one or more plates in contact with the stone floor. Nothing good for me... The pork fillet in pepper cream (12,00 Euro) should have as a supplement according to the map Pommes. It was also not really warm at the table with TK croquettes. Three small pieces pig fillet hidden shy under a thick layer of champignons. After I tried a piece, I knew why. The meat was dry and hard as if it had been kept warm for some time. The Chianti came from the refrigerator and tasted clearly oxidized as if the bottle was opened days ago. Sandra was significantly affected and reacted professionally to my complaint with a free replacement drink. My partner had the salad with turkey breast strips (9,50 euros). The salad was similar to the appetizer salad we had yesterday, only with turkey breast strips. The latter were sharply roasted with slightly roasted aromas, but here too hard and not really warm. Of course, it can also come because they lie on the cold salad. As dessert, my companion chose Kaiserschmarrn with Hollerröster (6.80 Euro). The Kaiserschmarrn was good, but Hollerröster had no trace. Instead, there were apples. I had Papkins with vanilla ice cream (4.80 euros). The pancake was probably painted with jam and turned into a compact role. It was with knives and fork. Fourth evening: After yesterday's breaks we went to dinner with mixed feelings. I hope it's better this time. Tonight it went with a pancake soup. Some of yesterday's palatinates were used as an insert, because the strips were slightly sweet. Also the strips were not cooked, but well shaped. As the main course we took turkeys with rice (10.50 euros). The turkey meat was well cooked, the rice impeccable and the fine curry sauce was excellent. This time, we have dispensed with a dessert to avoid repetitions. Instead, we finally took two Espressi. In a small way, however, I found that these were not counted on dessert, but were standing separately on the beverage bill. Conclusion: The selection of dishes offers numerous repetitions. The food is okay as long as there is no emergency in the house. The service is exemplary."
