"Popped in here on an afternoon in the Glebe with my teenage daughter. Needed some good food fast as we were between hockey games. Service was very friendly and cheery. Loved the unique milkshake flavors. My daughter grabbed a sandwich and salad while I had breakfast bacon, eggs, coffee, and juice. We both had shakes. They have a good selection of food offerings and craft beers. Place was very clean and conveniently located. Definitely would go again and recommend for folks to head into any time of day."

"Today a large rolo cake for a special occasion. the personal was nice and carefully packed the cake so I could add my own cake funnel. the cake was delicious, fresh and beautiful. love the big caramel drops."

"I'm just gonna come right out and say this, Tamis cafe is the one place I would love to have next door. The place I'd go to on most days of the week, to grab a coffee to kickstart my morning, or to hang out and read a good book or to just have a cozy with a gastronomic delight of a rendezvous with friends or family. I still have to try out all the menu though. Oh! the stir-fried noodles is a must-try. BTW, me and my family did have an excellent experience here. The owner/chef, Lisa, was a delight as well. And I meant amicable and so were the staff."

"Super deelish! I usually avoid macaroons because the last two times I've had overly sweet and artificial tasting macaroons. Surprise! The macaroons here are far from being overly sweet and they taste amazing. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. There's so many choices it's hard to choose. Try the passionfruit flavour. It's amazing. If you go here you have to try it."

"Out today with two other friends for Brunch at Perkins, great place that serves breakfast all day. We had a great time catching up on news. We had an attentive male server who we thought was being a bit of a jokester. While clearing the table he said that the bill had been taken care of... we thought he was just joking until another server came over and told us that his patron, a couple with child had taken care of paying for our Brunch bill! I wonder if I will ever know who this was? What a great surprise! I wanted to get a piece of pie to go at the Perkins Bakery but couldn’t decide on the chocolate silk or the coconut cream, so I got both. Just heading outside to the car the server came after me and said that the one piece of pie was the last one and it was smaller then usual and she wanted to correct it. I gave her the bag, two minutes later she came out with a fresh cut piece and she included the other small piece too. How nice was that! I hope in the near future I can 'pay it forward '!"
