"The service was very slow, not to mention, my sweet was cold. we were not given our suppe, salat or brot up to halfway through our main course and after we remembered our waiter that we never get them. we had to ask for acidic cream and sauces for our fish. our waiter never asks us if we wanted more iced. the only time our waiter was fast with a reaction was when we had our credit card in our hand. we'll never be back. we were shocked because gildas was a great place to eat when the previous owners were responsible."

"They claim they are organic, but only their beans are organic and their beans are in everything so all over their menu it looks like there are organic ingredients, but it is just the beans! I specifically asked the cook if their tortillas were organic because I did not want to feed GMO corn tortillas to the kids. They assured me they were organic. When I went through their kitchen to use the restroom I saw all of their tortillas stacked on the shelf. None of them were organic or even close, they were all conventional. When I confronted them about it and asked them to bring the pack of organic tortillas that they used for my tacos they could not produce the package. I will never eat there again. I will not be missing much because I have eaten there several times and never been satisfied with the food, but only kept returning because they were the only organic Mexican food in town. The flavor is not at all worth the price and not even organic!"

"Guy at the front is very rude and impatient. Food is okay but go to Aloha Island Grill if you want good Hawaiian food and friendlier service."

"This taqueria is a solid choice when the mood arises for a dependable chicken enchilada, or, a flavorful shrimp taco. The staff are always upbeat and on point, no matter the time of day! It tends to be quite busy around lunch and dinner times, however, the wait for the food is never more than a few minutes. Side note: I always enjoy listening to the music that they have playing from the back kitchen! They have some good singers on staff!"

"This restaurant was unexpectedly good. I?ve never been and overall it was a really good experience. The prices are reasonable the service is incredible and very accommodating. They remade two of our dishes because they were too spicy for me. I was very appreciative. Great food! Definitely recommend."

"Very disappointed in our visit today. We have been coming here since I was a little girl and this was always our go-to spot when visiting the wharf. The past few years (5 or so) the flavors have been falling off but I keep coming back hoping for it to get better. Unfortunately todays trip leaves me with less hope. The clam chowder (not photographed) had no flavor and the consistency felt like a frozen chowder that has been reheated multiple times. I couldn’t eat but a few bites. The crab, in both the crab cocktail and the sandwich, was extremely salty and literally left a bad taste in my husband’s and my mouths. They are currently under construction for the restaurant so I’m giving an extra star in hopes that the reason for the quality and flavor is lack of their usual facilities, and I hope once they open back up fully that their original flavors will emerge. *Fingers Crossed*"

"Decided to eat here as this often came as a vegan friendly restaurant. They definitely keep their word as they give the opportunity to make a good part of the menu vegan when asked. We came to eat at 6:00 on a Saturday evening and could get great seats on the window. The staff were very friendly and personal. Apart from the convenience of being literally across the street from the beach and walking from the boardwalk, the food was fine. We ordered the yellow curry (veganized) and the salmon chee. Both ducks contained no rice and had to be added as a side. Our bill was $70 for two ducks, two side orders of rice and three rounds of coconut juice. The price seemed extremely steep for the portion size and overall taste of both meals."

"Short review: Good food, quick service, friendly, and clean. Long review: Okay, my photos don't do this place or this food justice. I was too busy enjoying it and was lucky to get any pictures of the food because we dug right in. Nice, minimalistic setup with lots of wood. Wood floors, some paneling on the walls, and mahogany furniture. I felt like I was in another dimension due to how quiet and serene it was in there, and that is a good thing. Upon receiving the nicely sized, waterproof texture menus, we were overwhelmed with a sense of nostalgia trailing back to another spot we miss dearly in the Bay Area. That's beside the point. I had been looking for Hunan beef [crispy beef] for a while and happened to find it here, per my partner's recommendation. We also got the appetizer combo plate and chow mein the familiar dish that is easy to screw up at most restaurants but Ming's makes it delicious and comforting. Perfect noodles and perfect rice. Seriously, I feel like I'm at an aunt's house when I eat from here. Reasonable price too, we totally got takeout the next day after coming here for dinner the first time. I don't understand why people are complaining that the server is mean. I thought she was just straightforward and swift. If you want to be babied, please go back to Texas Roadhouse or Applebee's."
