"The key to a good fish and chip shop is how busy it is and where it is located. A chippie that is very busy will have a high turnover of food, oil that wouldn’t drop in temperature and food that is constantly hot. On the three occasions I visited here in the evening it was very busy and I had to queue and wait for a while to get my order of large cod and large chips. The cod was beautiful moist and flakey with crisp batter and the chips were hot and decent and there was a massive portion. Fish and chips will always taste better by the coast with the smell of the sea salt in the air and seagulls screeching above you so this shop can’t reproduce that. Can’t say this is the very best chippie I’ve ever been to but certainly the most busy."

"Lovely chip chop, very clean, wish they were open a little later on a weekend but considering the area I get why they're not. Fridays Saturdays we eat pretty late so that's the only thing is they close about 9. The food though is fantastic, really lovely."

"Been going here for ages. Had friends round from London so we needed a good local chippy to feed us all. 2 fish n chips 1 meat wrap Just over £16 They take cards so no running around for cash. Friends from London said how good value it was and also how good the fish was. I could have told them that myself!! Anyways. Definitely worth a visit. Didn't take pics but the empty plates spoke for themselves."
