"Brilliant location and excellent facilities at this site. I was here for a few days with my daughter and we enjoyed camping and spending time in the lake as we were able to launch our boat from the site. We will definitely be back."

"Nice restaurant with several gf choices clearly marked on the menu. Had the gf pasta Genoveses along with the gf garlic bread, both good. A more limited selection for lunches."

"Walked here along the river from Elterwater which made it nice. Pretty busy around 2.00pm and joined queue for service (no table service) and grab any table which becomes vacant. Discovered that al the offerings were all veggie or vegan based despite some of the...flatbreads being described as haveing spiced mince inside them which turns out to be Tofu. Settled on a couple of scones and hot drinks which were very nice but all served in paper cups, paper bags (no plates) and recyclable cutlery. All very worthy and sensible but you have to recycle the items yourself in the individually marked bins outside. Probably the shape of things to come but some diners clearly surprised and disappointed at restricted food options."
