"Came with a couple of friends for dinner on a Friday night after shopping on Ottawa St. Service was fast and friendly right upon entering the restaurant. We started with vegetable spring rolls for appetizers. They came out fresh and crispy. We ordered Shrimp ho fun rice noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork, Sesame Chicken, and steamed rice. Portions very big and nicely presented. I would recommend all of the dishes we got as they were flavourful and we loved our meal. Looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu!"

"If you are looking for authentic Chinese food look no further, read no further, just go here.Ok now that I have that out of the way, let's cover all the bases:My wife and I drive for 30 minutes to eat here, sure there are closer Chinese restaurants but they are all 'North Americanized', with fatty deep fried everything. Authentic Chinese very little is deep fried. and everything is fresh. always..The Food:Always plentiful three main dishes, one appetizer and two wonton soup and u will have left overs for work.The Service:Always friendly and treat u like family. A great place to unwind after a long day.The Restaurant:Is dated a little but overall, very authentic as well and traditional. It is not modern and that in itself is part of its charm. We love it :)Take out:We have done take out a few times and the food is always on time and ready when we arrive. They do a stiff take out on Friday and Saturdays as is evident by the constant ringing (subtle tone) of the take out phone.Summary:If u are looking for cookie cutter buffet style Chinese .. don't eat here, this place is all about the fresh, well prepared food. Nothing sits under the heat lamps and nothing is ever less than quality. Again if ur looking for every dish to be battered and soggy, I can't help you because that isn't this place's style. Ps they do offer deep fried options but in a word Why?"

"Welp, if I based my review on the unfriendly woman who answered and took my order I wouldn't have given the 4/5. I politely asked what were their specials. She loudly sighed as if in frustration and abruptly said "we don't have specials it's always the same all the time". I was taken aback, however as Connaught Fish and Chips was closed and I'd heard good things about Queenston, I still placed an order. I want to add when I went to pick up our order, there were two women at the restaurant. An older lady with an accent who was absolutely lovely, and a younger woman whose voice I recognized as the order taker. We enjoyed our dinner but would have a hard time wanting to return due to the rudeness of our conversation over the phone. Fries were great! Fish was great! We love to support local businesses but good customer service is a MUST."
The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat and drink in beautiful weather, And into the accessible rooms also come visitors with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

"Well I guess I blame myself. I should have decided to move along after I asked if the "chips" of Lakeport Fish & Chips were fresh cut as they should be but the answer was that they were frozen. I was hungry and with little time so I ordered shrimp without the so called "chips". They were average at best; but over priced and under sized and I was sent on my way without napkin or cutlery with my order. Go with your gut."
