"This is the first time we have eaten here it won’t be our last. It was our first time in a Japanese restaurant so we weren’t adventurous with our food choices. The food was excellent, freshly cooked nicely presented. We didn’t try the sushi, but I could have sat in there all evening watching the different plates of sushi being brought out they looked amazing. It’s a hidden gem just off the high street in a town overrun with big chain restaurants coffee shops."
In beautiful weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

"What a disappointing meal I had friends on Wednesday. we went for a meal before we went to playhouse and already ate here. but at this opportunity my vegan spaghetti luke was served warm as the puttanesca spaghetti was my friend. Our cappuccinos were also cold! the apology was that they were short in the kitchen, but that does not excuse the unrecognisable cappuccinos made by waiters! They must do much better than this when they keep their call up. we will not return to a hurry."

"We came here for dinner, friendly staff but unfortunately the food was terrible. I had veal with lemon sauce, very bland, not a hint of lemon, over-cooked mushy vegetables. My partner had veal with spaghetti on the side, bland and overcooked tasteless spaghetti. It wasn't exactly cheap either, feel ripped off, don't waste your money."

"Travelled down to event at Brooklands and booked the Old Plough after reading reviews. The reviews were right great pub. We were only eating there one night to begin with but food was that good we booked second night. Advise booking as gets very busy....Cant fault the place just a shame its 180 miles from home would be in there all the time."
