"I was really impressed by this little caffe and what hardworking youngs worked there. I stayed for the first time after my car close and I was surprised how busy it was and how nice it was to eat. "Great food but more attention to detail needed. My ham hock etiquette starter was tasty but the ham was all at the bottom and the mash on top instead of being mixed. The vegetables with my main course lamb were raw rather than al dente. The sticky date pudding was divine! The service was poor with some servers stretching across diners instead of going to the person waiting for their food and also when clearing the table they were again stretching over diners instead of going round. I would go again as it is excellent value for money."

"Great atmosphere, fantastic service, brilliant interieur and fabulous eating. coveted with the family and were pleasantly surprised when we said that halal meat was offered. fun! the service was served as well as eating. in any case one of the best I've had for a long time. all the ingredients used tasted fresh and the food was cooked as at home. although I am a huge fan of piccolinos, I felt the quality of pasta here was superior as well as the massive bonus of halal meats being used. will definitely be back here very soon! job well done youngs!"

"Popped in on the off chance of a space; know you usually need to book but they were very happy to oblige. I love the relaxed atmosphere in Sugo, the staff are great without being overbearing. I had the Sugo House; slow cooked melt in the mouth beef shin, pork shoulder with orecchiette in a n’duja rage and my husband had the Strozzapreti with tuscan sausage, wild rocket pesto, oven roasted tomatoes and parmesan. Nice side dish of tenderstem broccoli with parmesan, breadcrumbs and garlic; perfectly cooked. The menu has changed since we last came but it didn’t disappointed at all. A super round off to our walk on a gorgeous autumn day."

"Ordered chicken strips and popcorn chicken which were both ok, also ordered peri fries which were normal fries and cold, so all in all not a very good take away."
