"Stopped here on our way to the Big Rocking Horse. The inside is unusual; it's like the owners have tried to bring the outdoors, indoors/ There's a gazebo with garden chairs underneath, all the tables are either wooden-outdoor tables or mosaic cafe tables and there...is a fish tank too. When we approached the counter and food cabinets, neither of the staff said hello-not even a friendly smile to acknowledge us. We ordered our food and sat down at one of the tables. Looking around, all the tables were dirty; crumbs, packaging and sauce everywhere. It wasn't a busy time while we were there so it was disappointing to have to pick the cleanest of the tables. I had a vegetarian pasty. While it tasted okay, it wasn't hot. mildly warm at best. My partner had an egg and bacon pie (which was dry and the yolk he said tasted like plastic) and a cheese kranski which he couldn't even finish. Thankfully, we had purchased drinks to wash the tastes out of our mouths... Tip: Maybe also regularly wipe the sauce bottle down as well-it was impossible not to pick it up and leave with more sauce on your hand than on your meal..."

"Upon ordering delivery, I was informed that there was a wait for well over an hour. That of course is expected with only two pizza businesses in town, and the onslaught of contractor traffic. After an hour, the delivery driver calls and informs me that he cannot find the address. I give the right address (wrong address given to the driver through dispatch), only to find out that the driver had returned to the business with a cold pizza and a new one is being made. 3 hours later, it is delivered by someone else to the wrong address, again! Finally on the third time, they deliver to the right address. This is not excusable. To add the final nail to the coffin, the last few times I have called, they have been snotty with their attitude. My advice, give your business to the other pizza company in town."

"My wife and I had stopped in for a dinner and both had the chicken parmigiano.I felt that they were a little small, however my wife was very content with the size.Also i had asked for no salad just chips, and the amount of chips i recieved was, i felt, inadequate, i would have excpected there to have been more chips added in lieu of the salad and veg.these small complaints not withstanding, the meal tasted great and the sevice was excelent, the staff were all very friendly and it was an amazing surprize to see a magician who performed both in the dining room and later again for us out in the beer garden.We would have preferred that he not have performed during our meal, as it was cold by the time we returned to them, to be fair however he was performing to another table that was not eating and we were trying our darndest to see, very distracting whilst you are trying to eat.probably the nicest (and only) barman magician we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, a little frightful looking perhaps with his beard and tattoos, right up until he speaks and does some of the most amazing magic that my wife and i have only ever seen on TV Absolutely Amazing.All in All, 5 stars, the food was not perfect in size, but the price was very reasonable considering and the staff More than made up for it, the service by our waitress was Friendly and fast, she was a delight to be served by.Follow that up with a TV standard magic show and you have a an amazing experience that simply no other pub can match.I still have no idea how he did it!"
