"I can't gush enough at how grateful we are for our experience at Chez Lu Lu today, on Mother's Day 2021. We were at a different establishment earlier and before even ordering we were made to feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable that we left. As soon as we walked up to Chez Lu Lu, our already fragile nerves somewhat frayed due to Mother's Day being difficult for us, we were made to feel so welcome and appreciated that it completely felt like a blessing and we are already so grateful to be here. So far, our drinks and eats have been so welcoming and delicious. We are beside ourselves to be here. Thank you Chez Lu Lu. Thank you Phyllis and Rebecca"

"I think there is a Downtown Homewood trifecta Savage's Bakery, O'carr's Restaurant and O'Henry's Coffee Shop. At Savage's, I highly recommend the sugar cookies and the smoke drops. Both are delicious! I'm sure everything else is good, but these are my favorites."

"This was one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever seen very clean for a fast food restaurant and the food was great I was in and out there within 5 to 10 minutes maybe not even 10 easy parking for an downtown location. The best part about it is the sauce for roast beef sandwich they give you it is delicious."

"I ordered food just for me and spent 35$... grits were not cooked...full of cheese sauce not to good of a taste...any way I was totally over charged today...I only went to get a taste but my expectations were let down. The drink was pretty good. And I'm My family food critic..1 star. The food on left is what I have worth salvaging in my entire order. On the other hand on the right this is going to the dogs. The grits weren't cooked thoroughly. Should of went to Mickey D's. Sausage egg and cheese biscuit. 35$ what a mess. Spent all that and half of that went to the dogs wasted time and money."

"It is unfortunate that I could only give 3 stars. Like everything else in this post COVID world, they are short staffed so you wait a little more to get a hostess to even greet you not to mention the wait to be seated. The food was good. I had the Walt's Shrimp, which is always crispy and juicy. I also had the crab which was small but fresh and flavorful."
