"My daughters birthday meal was a real success, we all had lovely food. Would recommend the traditional 'enchard de porc' and and the 'Italien' burger. The waiters sang happy birthday as they bought the cake out."

"Been many times, our go to in the area. Can be a bit hectic, but this is proper 'Bistrot ' (Quickly . The staff are always running about, and I 've never seen them get an order wrong. The woman Maitre d ' (sorry i don 't know the feminine version in French is wonderful and very patient with her staff, even when things are busy. She always has time to make sure the customers are enjoying their meal. Note This is owned by the Vieux Logis across the road, and caters to a lot of the clients from there. On that basis, they have had to maintain a high standard. There is a very good, but limited menu. Because there is a limited choice, they do it all very well. Always check the specials, as there is often something new to try.. If you only stop here once, you must have the confit duck with the local potatoes. The house wines are surprisingly good, and it is worthwhile trying the pitchers of the local stuff. (red, white or rose . I 've mentioned the sommelier in my review of the Vieux Logis and I expect he is involved in the wine list here too (albeit being far less expensive!"
