"The two ladies who run this cafe are a delight. They are always cheerful and happy to serve you. The Coffee is the best I have had with attention to detail ensuring the cup is perfectly warmed beforehand and a delight to drink from. The cakes are to die for and all baked on the premises daily. They have a wonderful array of gifts and home wares and it is always such a delight to visit this shop/cafe."

"The Bavarian 29/08/2020 “Mushroom Burger” beautiful small balcony for a beautiful view (from a dach) but still a beautiful environment. I have the mushroom burger without the sauce or pickles and it was delicious really good burger would recommend to everyone. the personal was friendly, but there was an annoying customer on a beautiful sunny day outside on the beautiful balcony, this annoying customer decided to play them tube videos full when that is what they take headphones! in such cases they should really ask the mozens to kill the noise that no one wants to swear with the little one. food 9/10 employees 8/10 environment 9/10"

"I feel compelled to write this review because I feel so bad for the poor girl who was on her own on a busy Saturday morning, trying to take orders, makes drinks and food, and deliver orders to tables with absolutely no help. We had to wait ages to make our order and then sat for an eternity in an icy cold restaurant. When our food finally arrived, both the waffles and the crepes were stone cold… which revealed just how stale they were. Our hot chocolates came at about the 50 minute mark, after we’d already eaten as much of the food as we could stomach they were delicious and warm, a welcome respite from the freezing cold environment. We would have been in the restaurant from about 10.20am to roughly 11.30am and that entire time the girl was trying to manage everything on her own. There were at least 10 tables of people and more steadily trickling in; people at tables close to us were also commenting on how there was only one person working. It is an absolute disgrace to expect someone to work under those conditions and even if the food had not been terrible we would not return because of that."
