"We went there a number of times and I do like the atmosphere and above all the fact that it is not a chain restaurant. Today my wife had oysters that came fresh. Among other I ordered lamb chops and later realized the waiter didn’t care asking about the temperature. The dish composition wasn’t bad at all but the meat came heavily undercooked close to raw. Unfortunately not the first time that they undercooked my meat. Got a box and the check. Will try to fix the meat at home. The waiter was nonexistent, didn’t see him after bringing the order and later didn’t ask a single thing. We sometimes bring friends there to join us but I think I need to take a long break from that place. I learned not to expect great dining in this area but when spending $120 for 2 it would be reasonable to expect proper prepared food. "We are new to Greenville North Carolina. we just moved here last November. this was our first visit to the Mayflower seafood restaurant. I grew up on good seafood in South Carolina. This is a definite oldie but goodie restaurant. The seafood is fresh, with a calabash style. The service was awesome. for this quality of food I was surprised at such the reasonable prices. even with the restaurant having a full bar liquor license. The bar didn?t seem to be in operation. There was a Very nice family feel. The restaurant even had 60s and 70s music playing, and not very loud so you could still be able to hear each other talk at your table. i?m hoping to Mayflower seafood restaurant Will be in business for many years to come. We will certainly be frequent customers."

"I had a pleasant experience here on a Friday night. Fortunately, there was no waiting here at the Greenville site and we could sit right away. Our waiter was very good. He was attentive and polite and gave overall great customer service from beginning to end. I wish I had his name. Our food was delicious and after eating about 3 cookies with my Cesar Salat, I was filled. I ordered the shrimp entrio with broccoli and a zesarsalate. My friend enjoyed his Waygu Burger with lobster potatoes. When our entrees arrived, I didn't have much space so most of my foods went home with me and I enjoyed later. But the food I could get down was really good and hot. I have no complaints about my visit here and I will be back."
