"A great lunch. Wasn’t sure it would be open new year eve but arrived and although not quite as busy as usual , we ordered food and it arrived very quickly . Mo the manager always clearing tables ,chatting to his customers and making you feel welcome ,like part of the family . They were still playing Xmas songs and still had the lovely Xmas decorations up . Cold outside but warm inside and the soup we ordered , was delicious .cream of onion soup . Ordered a dessert and the raspberry pavlova as ever ,a very firm favourite was a lot of people seemed to order it was delicious as always . Lovely pot of tea too ,to warm the cockles of our hearts .back we went into the cold and rain but well full up . This is a great restaurant to go to and the staff always make you feel welcome . You never wait long for a table either . Well recommended"
