"Dozens of times have passed this place and never guessed how much went behind the door! The 'fiesta garden' has a really funny atmosphere, with music and decorations, and the food was delicious. I had the sweet potato and mushroom chili burrito (the vegan option comes without cheese and sour cream), and the dirty vegan pommes: both came in enormous portions and were super delicious. Be careful, but the candied Jalapeños are MUCH hotter than they let it sound on the menu..."

"In the opposite stay for a cure, hotel eating too expensive for budget and not great so tried this pub for a change. was so good went back in the following night for another meal. drink reasonable price and how they expect that they, good head on the designs, good quantity mixer in the ghosts. the personal was excellent, friendly, chatty and welcoming. the eating was good, had the burger a night and fish and chips, really good price for the size, tasty and definitiw fits into this good pub-grub category. the desert had seen on the side and was generous size and plenty of cream. recommend you visit one if they are in the opposite."

"I live not too far from Hitchin and this was probably my fifth time dining in Bosphorous. I took my father and his wife who were visiting me from Bradford. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough; a hidden gem in North Hertfordshire. The atmosphere is lovely; nice decor with beautiful traditional touches with the lighting, spacious, clean, relaxed, Service is really good; staff friendly and the girl who served me this time also served myself and a friend in February and did not finish her shift until we were ready to leave that time. Food is superb; huge choice, nice complimentary flat bread, dips and olives to start and Turkish Delights to finish meal. Portions are HUGE; no 'Nuveau Cuisine ' HERE, more like home cooking. Really good to have the opportunity to try Turkish wine, which is VERY nice. Bosphorous needs to be more busy than it IS (Although I have mostly dined at lunch time or bank holidays, perhaps it is busier on weekend evenings)."
