"My husband and I went to Costello?s yesterday. Last year, we tried Abbotts for the first time and love the lobster rolls, so we decide to give Costello?s a try. We were very disappointed. There were only maybe half a dozen people there, so it wasn?t verybusy for a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the fish and chips my husband ordered a whole belly clam plate and we also orderedfritters. We found the portions pretty small, everything was very greasy, and not very warm at all. Our order did sit out on thecounter for a good 10 minutes while our fritters were being cooked. Once I realized it was our order I asked to take it and justget the fritters when ready. The view was amazing and the workers were very kind and polite, but we won?t be back. Woodman?s inEssex MA is by the far the best fried seafood place around."
