"Went out for an after-work dinner as we really enjoyed the place last time. We chose the duck and pork for something different and were presented with two very visually similar dishes. On tasting, except for the taste of the meat itself, the two very virtually indistinguishable even down to the pancake-type flatbread underneath. This was despite quite descriptions of course. There wasn't anything wrong with the food, it was quite nice. But a big disappointment compared to the amazing soufflé and potato roesti we enjoyed last time we were here. Not writing it off yet, but the reputation may be based on a few dishes rather than the whole repertoire."

"Stopping here has become a part of our annual snow trip. The wines are high quality and taste amazing. Our cellar door expert knew what we liked before we did, she was really helpful (and patient-it was hard to choose between so many good wines). We're glad we took up the recommendation to try the prosecco - we all bought a bottle. The winery itself is a lovely new building with nice views over the paddocks and cows. Highly recommend"

"Beautiful relaxed atmosphere, friendly and beautiful staff, and all that from amazing delicious eating topped. What else should we ask? our group had the king river kartoffeln, gnocchi, beef cheeks, pork belly and the dumpling. all made absolutely perfect and absolutely delicious. dessert. Very good. perfect lunch on a perfect day. we come back as there are so many more elements in the menu that we want to try now when they go at a weekend, book them in advance. They also have two EV chargers for free for patrons!"
