"Stopped there for fuel, ended up buying there our tickets for milford sound cruise and Te Anau glow worms cave (with a 20% discount). Once in Milford they took our ticket with all information for the next day cave and said it would be alright. Unfortunately, it wasnt. We were supposed to arrive at 10 for departure at 10:15 but we were sure we remembered having to be there at 10:15. So of course the boat left without us, despite me arriving running right before (the lady at the counter said she would hold the boat, but she never even reached to the captain). We had to repay our glow worms tickets. The next day, back at Caltex for fuel, Carol (the lady who sold us the tickets) was there. She was shocked by our story, picked up her phone and got us the refund for the missed boat tickets. She was so helpful, contrary to the lady at the Real Journey desk. So thank you Carol!"

"Excellent fare and service. Hollandaise sauce was outstanding. Hamburger was fresh and delicious. Fries were crispy. Mushroom and spinach dish was a delightful surprise. Coffee was good. The counter person/waitperson was energetic and professional notwithstanding my obnoxiousness. Fantastic! And a great location right in lake te Any. Prices were very reasonable. A great cafe."

"A nice place to take a rest on the midway from Queenstown to Milford sound. A plenty of choices of foods and drinks are available in the Cafe. Also, there is a souvenir shop with plenty of goods. The toilet is quite clean and offer hot water for hand washing (very important in cold weather)."

"AMAZING PIES. We didn't get any pics because we ate so fast. But the Green Thai Chicken Curry and the Buttered Chicken Pies are a must have. Chai Latte and Long Black Coffee were also great. Really really really enjoyed this stop. The staff was friendly and nice! If you're worried about not hearing your name when it's called, don't be. She's got pipes!"

"After eating at least 3 famous pie shops In south New Zealand , i think i can claim this to be almost the best pie shop in South Island! Meat is savoury. Venison melts in your mouth and even the lamb mint is delightful! The other Sxxxx's pie near Christchurch crust might be just that bit crispier though."
