"First time a review motivated due to disappointment. Been customers for many years but tonight we both found the fish, chips and peas bland and unpleasant to eat in fact most of it was given to seagulls. It didn’t feel like cooked as normal. We were there early evening chips were like warmed up, fish and batter unpalatable, peas unpleasant, first time ever disappointed there, not a treat at all!"

"We searched and searched for a table, but easy put to help out caused everywhere to be fully booked. So we opted for chips. We chose here as it has the longest queue. The chips were nice and fresh. I would highly recommend a kids meal if you want a normal size portion."

"Best freshly cooked cod chips we had in a long time, even more, as it is near the sea. the cod was hot fleshy and not fat. the battery was light and crispy and chips perfectly cooked, although very busy on the hottest bank holiday monday post curly down. staff very friendly and helpful. Internal Kovid measures have just been right, the customers seem to have forgotten while waiting that becomes more common. a to sell sign hope that it will not lose its quality when it is sold. outstanding, that is unusual of me many thanks and much luck for the rest of the season."
