"So delicious and delicious dishes every time. A Boise area. If you're out of town, put that on your list. If you're a local and haven't been, you'll miss and I'm sorry for you. My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Epi a few weeks ago. It was some time since the last visit here and I was curious about the return, with high expectations that were very surpassed. We started our dinner with a serving of excellent Ham Croquetas (thickned Bechamel with Jamon Serrano, crumbled and fried golden, $16.00 . I probably would have eaten two plates of it and called it good. We loved her! They were perfectly crisp and the filling was so creamy. There wasn't too much ham, but only enough you noticed. You have to get them. The entrances are served with soup, salad, bread and two preselected secondary dishes. Both soups were great! My husband chose a Red Bean (I think? Tomato-based soup and I'm the shell chowder. So much good in both, especially in the Chowder. The salads were a little sad, a few leaves and crushed carrots I could have done without. At least it was fresh! I mean, without dressing, so it was usually a palate cleaner for me. I chose a lighter farewell of Slow Roasted Leg of Lamb (hand carved boneless leg served by lamb with a burgundy sauce, $27.00, $34.00 for a regular part with a side of wild rice. It was nothing like before. The lamb was tender like butter and the sauce exquisite. The rice was a great side and it paired well with the sauce. As much as I liked my dish, the winner of the evening was my husband, the Halibut Filet (hand cut helibut, citrus fought, with lobster cream sauce, $41.00 . Holy Cannoli, whatever in the cream sauce was ADDICTING. I've always thrown bites of my husband on the plate. The halibut itself was a hundred times excellent. It was some of the best food I would eat in Boise in a long, long time."
