"Stopped in on our river cruise and found this restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather and the hospitality. Many locals in the place which was a good sign. We both had some form of schnitzel and it was good and filling."

"This is the place that the locals go when they want carving, and the ending serves them longer than everyone remembers. The cooks are a father and son team (I think the father is in his 80s) and the food I said is just as good as thirty years ago! In the evening we went there without saying the carvings in any kind of different shapes, were formed to the different tables, mostly formed by the locals. This family-run place is charming and hospitable and worth visiting really traditional German cuisine without experiencing adjustments. Be careful, the portions are huge!"

"My wife and I had another very good dinner in Kläsles Gastronomy outside on a warm summer evening. Our dinner included a Toscana Flame Cake, a Carpaccio and three different versions of Matjes soused Herings. All were very good and the service was excellent."

"We came to caffe heringer on Easter Monday 2013 when the weather had become better after a miserable weekend and German old people had come to a traditional coffee and cake in the early afternoon. so it was not the best time for a late lunch, but it is a good opportunity to show the mängel of an orte. After reading some of the reviews in German, I thought it might be useful to add my thoughts in English, as they well match one of the German reviews. the queue on the cake counter was quite long, but was quickly done and efficient. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the table service, despite a seemingly huge number of waiters. about five minutes after I had ordered Frenchmen with kartoffel salad as a daily dish, I was told that there was nothing left, so I went to the late zli-girl who had ordered my wife. that was quite disappointing when it finally arrived and looked clearly and tasted as if it had been boiled in a microwave. both the latezli and the cheese were not golden brown and with some nice crispy edges, but pale and mushy and smelled strong after teig. we both left the half of our portions, which is very unusual for us. then the tormenting waited until someone appeared so that we could ask for the bill, what was repeatedly interrupted by the rhythm of the toilet door, next to which I sat (the toilet seems to be a secret tip passing by wandering, wheel and bikern, as well as the visitors of the caffe.) during this waiting time I had time to buy myself, two cakes to take with me and then again. as by a miracle our waitress suddenly came out of nothing when we were doing and getting up to go, and we could pay with good. this place is good for a cozy afternoon with coffee and cake for the group of renters, but do not expect much more than that."

"I can only recommend this place for a fast drink. the lunch was little inspiring and although the portions were generous and tasty, the menu was not adventurous, but just too boring. the veranda did not look very clean and some of the tables had still eating leftovers and were not cleaned for the duration of our stay. the intention is the only thing I can recommend here, and the toilets that were immaculate. the small tapas bar the road down is much better and has the same look (although the toilets are not so flawless!"
