"Expatriés depuis la Belgique dans la région, nous avons décidé d'essayer cette fameuse baraque à frite. Nous étions conscients que nous ne trouverions pas des frites comme chez nous mais nous nous attentions à quelque chose de correct. Je passerais la propreté déplorable, l'accueil plus que moyen, la carte inexistante (des photos affichées le long d'une palissade et quelques notes de ci de là), l'attente dehors dans le froid même lorsque vous mangez en salle! En effet c'est commande à l'extérieur et règlement avant de pouvoir s'assoir en salle ou pourtant on vient vous servir! Enfin passé la surprise de la note (21,40€ pour deux "portions"de frites avec deux viandes de base ( fricadelles) et 4 sauces). Nous nous sommes installés et avons vu arriver les fameuses frites dans une assiette avec couteau et fourchette ( pas très baraque à frite) des frites molles gorgées de graisse et le pire pas cuites, c'était vraiment immangeable. Nous avons mangé ce que nous avons pu, mais franchement nous avons du mal à comprendre les commentaires élogieux que nous avions vus et entendus. Rien n'était à la hauteur, le prix plus qu'excessif pour des patates frites ( dans le sud ou dans le nord je ne pense pas que ce soit la denrée alimentaire la plus onéreuse qui soit ), le goût vraiment mauvais et l'hygiène inexistante. A éviter si vous souhaitez manger un bon petit snack bien frais et pas trop onéreux"

"Myself, the good lady, and my nephew decided to try this brasserie after being disappointed with a few restaurants we had tried earlier in the week. This little watering hole is situated on a commercial zone just off the A20 in Montauban France. Take the time to visit this place as the food we ate was very well presented, very tasty and very filling. The atmosphere is good the staff pleasant, you'll be pleased you did.
