"We gave this a punt as there wasn't a lot of eating options in Tamaimo. The staff were so friendly. Pizza and lasagne were both really good and it was suprisingly good for a sleepy town take-away (there are a few cafe seats and even...draft beer). Don't judge a book by its cover as they say! Recommended"

"Have just left now and had to leave a review. The waiter (middle aged man with neck tattoos) had an extremely bad attitude and was literally glaring at us, possibly because we had our 3 month old son with us. He made us feel extremely uncomfortable and not welcome from the moment we walked in. We were actually intending to have breakfast but left it at coffee and decided to leave. I was speaking spanish to him and he was grunting back and then gave us the english menu (my spanish is decent enough for him to give us the spanish menu). Then when I went to the toilet (have to ask for a key) I forgot to lock it back and he literally gestured at me angrily. Fix your attitude! You’re losing business. I think he forgot that he was a baby once…"
