"If the delicious odor of freshly baked ginger cake hangs in the air and there is a lot of delicious in the offer that would not be happy! add them to this friendly staff and they have a winning combination. there is almost too much to choose, but we were tried by the jams, chutneys and scorpses as well as Scottish patterns; tablet and shortbread. the tablet (as almost all others made by maggie’s fresh before place) uses real butter in contrast to other mass-tested brands. a real one has to try when you're in town."

"Dinner on a road trip. Veggie burger and chips (only veggie option I think). Decent enough but nothing to rave about at least it was a traditional vegetarian patty not one of the new fake meat burgers. Good beers. Chatty staff. Bit lacking in atmosphere not many people in and the football on TV too noisy for something nobody seemed to be watching."
