"Our go-to neighborhood sushi. The regular roles aren't great but always love their sashimi and nigiri! Special roles are decent. The more expensive dishes are definitely better quality here, so might have to splurge sometimeFood: 4/5"

"When I was at the New Westminster Stn. Last weekend I decided to visit “Togo Sushi”. I ordered the Tropical Roll and the House Roll. First what I noticed was, that they didn’t have any servers despite the restaurant was small, One had to pick up the meal from the counter after the call of the order number. The soy sauce was delivered just u=in a small cup; its opening was not large enough to dip the roll in it. The House Roll was not bad: The combination of smokes salmon and prawn tempura tasted good. I cannot say the same about the Tropical Roll: The applied Mango sauce was too sticky and far too sweet. I would certainly never order that roll at this restaurant again.The biggest shock came when I was about to discard my waste: The waste bin was overflowing; I was not able to put my stuff in it. I have never seen such a mess in any fast food restaurant in the world that I visited so far.2.5 out of 5"

"I don't have unreasonable expectations for restaurants. A general respect and some basic manners is all I expect. I was completed taken aback by the rudeness of one particular waitress. I was in here to pick up take out when the waitress told me that one of my orders isn't in the system. I said "What do you mean it isn't in the system, I paid for it already" She showed me the computer screen quite angrily and said "SEE? its not here" I said "I don't understand, its been paid for already" in which case she responded by huffing towards a stack of take out boxes that were ready and pointed towards it and said "is it this"And she was completely exasperated telling me " YOU have to tell me that its ready and there"I said "I don't know that it's ready"and she was exasperated and said "Just go pay for your order" WTF?? I have to tell her that my take out is ready? I'll never go back there again."

"We had a fantastic meal at ikoi! it was the best salmon-sashimi I ever had. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. the restaurant is immaculate and has a beautiful atmosphere. the food was fresh and delicious. they even had gluten-free soy sauce! I look forward to my next meal at ikoi!"

"Had such a great time at Hyack sushi. I literally enjoyed the meal so much, I realized I hadn't taken a photo. Luckily my friend eats slower I was already on dessert lol. I would totally recommend the black sesame ice cream. They layer it with some cocoa powder and it's just such a tasty texture and flavor."

"Had a lovely meal here and great service from the lady who runs the place. The tempura roll was delicious! I'm not a raw sushi fan but there was still a lot of choice here for cooked meat dishes. The rice was also very well...made, and the sake very tasty. It's not a huge place but every table is in its own 'subdivision' booth which is nice. Highly recommended!"
